YouTube Thumbnail Grabber is a free online tool that lets you download the thumbnails (preview images) from any YouTube video. Each YouTube video has multiple thumbnail versions, from low resolution (120x90 pixels) up to max resolution (1280x720 pixels).

How does it work?

The tool extracts the video ID from the YouTube link you enter, then checks all available thumbnail resolutions. YouTube automatically stores multiple versions of each preview image on their public servers. We show you all available variants and let you download them directly.

What resolutions are available?

• Maximum Resolution (1280x720) — the highest resolution, ideal for presentations and design. Not available for all videos.
• Standard Definition (640x480) — good resolution, available for most videos.
• High Quality (480x360) — medium resolution, suitable for previews.
• Medium Quality (320x180) — small resolution, useful for lists and galleries.

Is it legal to download thumbnails?
